Founded in 1997, the Meningitis Foundation of America (MFA) is the first national non-profit in the United States of America dedicated to the education, vaccination and eradication of meningitis. The Meningitis Foundation of America is registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing information, support and resources to individuals, families, healthcare professionals and the public at large about meningitis diagnosis, prevention and vaccinations.
One new item that has changed recently and that is that families have taken part in organ donation when the tragedy strikes so that with this unfortunate circumstance happens.
MFA is an active member of the Confederation of Meningitis Organisations (CoMO) and a partner of Caring Bridge.
MFA is a non-biased donation-based foundation with assistance from one major fundraiser, The McKenna Rose Winton Memorial Golf Tournament. Please read more under stories.
Taking care of this website requires dedication, discipline patience and passion along with empathy. So much of the volunteer’s time is spent listening, educating and sharing guidance for resources that people might need when tragic events occur in their lives.
Please consider donating securely through our Paypal gateway.
